About the Lioness Club
The Sycamore Lioness Club is a sister club to
the Sycamore Lions and was established in 1983. We currently have 8
members ranging in age from 20 to 90. We meet the fourth Thursday
of each month. Four of the meetings each year are used to make tray
favors for the local meals on Wheels program. The Lioness Club also
has a food booth at the Turning Back Time Classic Car Show (last
Sunday in July) and a vendor booth at the Annual Pumpkin Festival
(last full weekend in October). With the funds raised at these
events the Sycamore Lioness Club sponsors two scholarships awarded
to Sycamore High School graduating seniors each year. In addition
we support other community and Lions Club projects.
